CDP Sika measures and discloses greenhouse gas emissions and climate change strategies through the CDP, in order to set reduction targets and make performance improvements. This data is made available by the CDP for use by a wide audience including institutional investors, corporations, policymakers and their advisors, public sector organizations, government bodies, academics and the public. The CDP is an independent not-for-profit organization holding the largest database of primary corporate climate change information in the world.

Responsable Care Sika adheres to the Responsible Care® program. This program is the chemical industry’s global voluntary initiative under which companies, through their national associations, work together to continuously improve their health, safety and environmental performance, and to communicate with stakeholders about their products and processes. Sustainable Construction Network Switzerland The Sustainable Construction Network Switzerland "NNBS" is dedicated to the promotion and coordination of sustainable construction in Switzerland. It aims to strengthen the cooperation between industry, public sector, education, politics and science and is committed to a clear understanding of sustainable construction. Transparency International Transparency International, the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption, brings people together in a powerful worldwide coalition to end the devastating impact of corruption on men, women and children around the world. It’s mission is to create change towards a world free of corruption. Sika supports within Transparency International the National Integrity System (NIS). The NIS combats corruption to support sustainable development, rule of law and human rights.   Link
UN Global Compact In 2009 Sika AG has been added to the UN Global Compact register of participants and is now an active part of the worldwide corporate responsibility initiative. World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) Sika is member of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development since 2010. The World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) is a CEO-led, global association of some 200 companies dealing exclusively with business and sustainable development. The Council provides a platform for companies to explore sustainable development, share knowledge, experiences and best practices, and to advocate business positions on these issues in a variety of forums, working with governments, non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations.  Link
United States Green Building Council (USGBC) The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) is a non-profit organization committed to a prosperous and sustainable future for the nation through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings. USGBC leads a diverse constituency of builders and environmentalists, corporations and non-profit organizations, elected officials and concerned citizens, and teachers and students. Sika is member of several national Green Building Councils and supports initiatives in the domain of sustainable buildings and sustainable construction. Link
United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) As a company with a strong innovative tradition, Sika engages engages in the Sustainable Buildings and Climate Initiative (SBCI) of the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). The initiative brings together stakeholders from all phases of buildings' lifespans. Through SBCI, members take an active role in shaping the market of sustainable buildings and construction.  
Vinyl Foundation The Vinyl Foundation is a funding mechanisms run by EuPC to support VinylPlus, the sustainable development programme of the European PVC industry. Sika is a contributor to the Vinyl Foundation and therefore supports the content and principles of the VinylPlus Voluntary Commitment, shares data on the use of recyclate and other controlled-loop information, and contributes to the overall European PVC recycling through the financing of VinylPlus.
