EVERBUILD® JETCEM WATERPROOF

Waterproof, rapid setting repair mortar for concrete, stone and brick

EVERBUILD® JETCEM WATERPROOF is a cement based mix, formulated specifically for water resistance and is designed to set hard in about 30 minutes.

Usage

  • Repairs to cracks and holes in structures subject to permanent water immersion
  • Patching repairs to tanking & water retaining structures
  • Repairs to ponds and pools
  • Ideal for repairs to steps in basements, and areas susceptible to damp
  • Seal and joint drains and pipes
  • Filling around pipes, through gaps
  • Bedding sanitary ware (pedestal, toilets etc)

Storage Conditions

Store in cool dry conditions between + 5°C and 25°C.  Storage outside these parameters will significantly reduce shelf life.

Application

Application steps

MIXING

Using clean, dry tools, mix 3 parts EVERBUILD® JETCEM WATERPROOF with 1 part by volume clean, cold water to a smooth paste. 

IMPORTANT – Do not mix more cement than can be used in 5-10 minutes. 

APPLICATION

Apply the mixture immediately with a trowel or knife, working well into area to be repaired.

Level with surrounding area before mixture starts to set, usually within 10 minutes.  Repairs to ponds and pools must be sealed with a suitable paint before refilling.

For maximum carbonation resistance and to further reduce capillary water absorption, over coating with a protective system conforming to EN1504-2 is recommended.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools immediately with water. Store bag sealed and closed, in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.
