Block paving is commonly used for driveways, paths and patios thanks to its durability, versatility and clean appearance. However, the long-term performance of block paving depends on how effectively the joints between each block are filled. Without a proper jointing material, blocks can shift over time, and gaps can quickly become a breeding ground for weeds and insects. Sika® Setting Sand is designed for use in narrow joints between block paving. The product is brushed into the joints and then activated with water, where it hardens to help stabilise the blocks and support a neat, finished appearance.
