Sika® Dustproofer

Sika® Dustproofer is a water-based solution used to dustproof and harden concrete surfaces. The product helps reduce dusting in areas like garages, factories and other industrial spaces by sealing and strengthening the concrete surface.

Sika® Dustproofer penetrates the surface of the concrete, where it forms a hard, insoluble crystal structure that binds the concrete particles together. This process helps to seal the surface, making it dustproof and more durable, improving the concrete’s wear resistance.

To apply Sika® Dustproofer, start by ensuring the surface is clean and dry, free from dirt or any contaminants. Use a brush to apply the product evenly across the surface. It’s recommended to apply two coats, allowing 24 hours of drying time between each coat. For very porous surfaces, a third coat may be required to achieve the best results. 24 hours after the final coat, thoroughly wash the surface with clean water. For best results, read the instructions on the Product Data Sheet before application.

Sika® Dustproofer typically covers 3 to 6 square meters per litre, depending on the porosity of the concrete. The drying time for each coat is about 24 hours, so make sure the surface is fully dry before applying the second coat.
