SikaProof® Tape A+ N

Self-adhesive tape for internal jointing of SikaProof® A+ waterproofing system

SikaProof® Tape A+ N is a self-adhesive tape based on a polyacrylate adhesive with a carrier film and a release liner.

Usage

  • Sealing and bonding overlap joints, connections and details within the SikaProof® A+ system.

Storage Conditions

Product must be stored in original unopened and undamaged sealed packaging in dry conditions and temperatures between + 5 °C and + 30 °C. Always refer to packaging.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Strictly follow installation procedures

Strictly follow installation procedures as defined in Method Statements, application manuals and working instructions which must always be adjusted to the actual site conditions.

IMPORTANT

Application by trained personnel

The application of this Product must only be carried out by an applicator that is trained or approved by Sika. The applicator must also be experienced in this type of application.

 

SUBSTRATE QUALITY

The contact surface is the grey SikaProof® A+ bonding layer. It must be dry or slightly damp, clean and free of any materials that could impair adhesion.

Application outside of specified application conditions

Note: Under certain circumstances, the Product can be applied in conditions other than the ones specified in this data sheet. However, this requires specific precautions and application methods.

APPLICATION

IMPORTANT

Exposure to UV or weathering

The Product is not resistant to permanent UV exposure or weathering.

  • Protect as soon as possible but not later than 90 days after application
  1. Remove the release liner
  2. Apply onto the grey SikaProof® A+ membrane side
  3. Press on firmly using a pressure roller
