Sikafloor®-03 Primer

Ready to use, dispersion based primer prior to applying cementitious levelling compounds and tile adhesives.

Very low emission, ready to use dispersion for use as a  primer with high penetration for mineral substrates, for moisture protection and reduction of absorbency. For interior and exterior use.

Usage

Sikafloor®-03 Primer is suitable as a primer on:
  • Gypsum and cement based substrates.
  • Intermediate primer for multi layer constructions.
  • Wooden OSB and chipboard substrates

Storage Conditions

Store under cool, dry and frostfree conditions. Opened can should be closed immediately and used up as soon as possible.

Waiting Time / Overcoating

Before applying cementitious self levelling compounds and tile adhesives wait:

Consumption

~150 g/m2 depending on absorbency of the substrate and applicator device.
Application steps

MIXING

Sikafloor®-03 Primer is a very low emission special primer and is stirred or shaken before use.

APPLICATION

Apply Sikafloor®-03 Primer undiluted and saturated with a fine pored roller e.g. a foam roller or similar evenly on the dry substrate. Avoid formation of puddles. Sikafloor®-03 Primer can be sprayed.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools with water immediately after use.
