These figures are theoretical and do not allow for any additional material due to surface porosity, surface profile, variations in level or wastage etc.

The substrate must offer sufficient strength and adhesion to resist the forces generated by wind suction.

The substrate must be firm, clean, dry or slightly moist, free from oil, grease, dust, stripping agents, standing water, bitumen residue and loose friable particles.

Reference must be made to further documentation where applicable, such as relevant method statement, application manual and installation or working instructions.

Application Method

Position and align the membrane. Apply even strips of SikaRoof® Adhesive C-300 adhesive directly out of the container or by using an adhesive dispenser cart with a bead diameter of 8–10 mm.

Moisten the adhesive strips slightly with a fine mist of water, ideally using a backpack sprayer with a double-nozzle lance. Using a rubber spatula, evenly spread the adhesive strips to create a thin adhesive film. The membrane is then rolled immediately into the wet adhesive. Press down firmly on the membrane using a suitable pressure roller.

Only apply the adhesive on the immediate membrane installation area. When completed apply adhesive onto the next area.

Rate of adhesive application for moderate wind loads < 2,4 kN/m²

Clean all tools and application equipment with SikaRoof® Cleaner 2000 immediately after use. Hardened material can only be mechanically removed
