Sikalastic® Balcony Waterproofing System
The Sikalastic® balcony waterproofing system combines the elastic waterproofing performance of Sikalastic®-702 with the durable protective properties of Sikalastic®-701 top coat. Together, these products create a liquid-applied waterproofing solution designed for balconies and terraces.
Sikalastic®-702 is a hybrid polyurea liquid-applied membrane that forms the waterproofing layer. Applied cold, it offers high elasticity and elongation, good adhesion to a variety of substrates when used with the appropriate primer, and resistance to ponding water. The membrane is self-smoothing, requires no reinforcement and is suitable for areas with complex detailing.
Sikalastic®-701 is a polyurethane hybrid top coat designed for use with Sika liquid-applied membrane waterproofing systems. It provides a gloss finish and offers UV and yellowing resistance, colour stability and long-term weathering performance.
