Fire resistant ablative coating for linear seals and penetrations

Sikacryl®-625 Fire+ is a 1-part fire resistant, ablative acrylic coating used for the installation of SikaSeal®-626 Fire Board+.

Usage

  • Covers linear seals up to 120 mm in combination with mineral fibre backing.
  • Edge coating of SikaSeal®-626 Fire Board+ when installed on the outer face of a wall or floor.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The substrate must be clean, dry, sound, free from oils, grease, dust and loose or friable particles. Sikacryl®-625 Fire+ adheres without primers and/or activators.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use. Hardened material can only be removed mechanically.
