Usage

The main fields of application for Sika® Sigunit® L-2721 AF are:
  • Temporary support in tunneling
  • Rock support and slope protection
  • High-quality lining shotcrete

Performance of Sika® Sigunit® L-2721 AF depends on:

  • Concrete mix design
  • Type of cement
  • W/C-ratio
  • Concrete and underlay temperature
  • Surface structure of casted area
  • Thickness of concrete
  • Dosage of accelerator

Application

Application Information

Compatibility

Sika® Sigunit® L-2721 AF is not mixable with alkaline aluminate / silicate based admixtures or additives.

Restrictions

  • Concrete temperature shall not be lower than +15°C.
  • Sika® Sigunit® L-2721 AF shall not be used below +15°C; lower temperature can result in higher dosage to reach optimum results.

Equipment

The steel quality of metal parts witch comes in contact with Sika® Sigunit® L-2721 AF should be made in stainless steel.
