Usage

Sika MonoTop®-109 WaterProofing is particularly designed for waterproofing projects with manageable size such as basement walls, small ponds or tanks and below-ground structures.

Application steps

MIXING

Pour the water in the correct proportion into a suitable mixing container. Slowly add the powder and mix at least 3 minutes until achieving a homogenous consistency.

APPLICATION

The product can be applied with a stiff bristled brush, glue brushes, spatula or smooth trowel in 2 or 3 layers.

To ensure a good penetration and bonding onto substrate, the first coat must be applied by brush.

The subsequent layer or layers can be applied either by brush (subsequent layers must be applied crosswise) or spatula when the previous one has sufficiently dried (approx. 4–6 hours) and no later than 12 hours. In any case, the thickness should not exceed 4 mm.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.

Hardened material can only be mechanically removed.

Documents
