High Performance Concrete Sika
Ballyogan Waste Transfer Facility
Sika’s chemical resistant Watertight Concrete System is being used in the construction of South Dublin County Council’s state of the art Waste Transfer Facility at Ballyogan in Carrickmines.
The facility will have a split level floor area of 3,600 square metres with a five metre high retaining wall between the levels. A three storey office building will be constructed along one side. Consultants for the project, E G Pettit and Co., required high durability concrete capable of withstanding attack by leachate.
