Celebrating 100 Years of Sika

To celebrate its Centenary Year, Sika Ireland decided to sponsor a number of community projects that are close to home and the heart.

Community Clean-up Project

One project was to support the local Ballymun Youth Group in a summer project to clean up and landscape the open areas near to our works.
The idea was conceived between Sika Ireland and Fran McVeigh of the Poppintree Youth Project. This included the clean up of the ugly ovegrown areas by digging and levelling piles of rubbish, raking and seeding the entire area with grass and the planting of trees, shrubs and flower beds.
